A Deeper Look at DWELL
DWELL is the marriage of prayer and worship. It carries the heartbeat of the entire non-profit—intimacy and relationship with God. To dwell with the Lord is not a one time event that happens on Sundays, or in our 20 minute quiet time, but a way of living and doing life with God daily. The verb dwell means to live in a place as a resident, to stay for a time, or to keep one's attention directed on something for a long time. God’s invitation to us is to live life with him, to keep our attention attuned to His presence and voice in our lives. This is a place we can live, not just visit each morning and then move on with our day, but a place to reside with him. Dwelling with the Lord is an invitation to do life with Him, to welcome Him into every moment, every conversation, and every action.
Here's the one thing I crave from YAHWEH, the one thing I seek above all else: I want to live (dwell) with him every moment in his house, beholding the marvelous beauty of YAHWEH, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace.
-Psalm 27:4 TPT
DWELL was formed out of our individual journeys with Him. God had been teaching Dawn, Katie, and Ashley individually what it meant to sit in presence with the Lord. Individually God was teaching us what it looked like to seek His heart, to learn to find rest in His presence, and healing through experience with Him. God brought the three of us together in 2024, and DWELL was formed. We have been meeting monthly for 18 months and then moved to quarterly DWELL Nights.
The DWELL mission is to create intentional space and content– to equip people to hear the voice of God, walk in his transformative presence, and live out their God-given callings.
DWELL Nights are a quarterly prayer and worship night. Open to men, women, & teens we create intentional space to worship and encounter the Holy Spirit.
